Part 1: Privacy Policy
1. 100% Local Data Storage Guarantee
ADAUStar is a standalone, local-first mobile application designed to help children build positive daily habits.
No Cloud Servers: We do not own, operate, or rent any external cloud servers to store your personal data.
Your Data Stays with You: All profiles, missions, tasks, points, stars, and configurations are stored strictly and locally on your own device's internal storage. We cannot access, view, sell, or collect any of your data.
2. Device Permissions and Usage
To provide a personalized and fully functioning experience, ADAUStar requests permissions for certain device features. These permissions are only triggered when a parent voluntarily initiates them:
Camera and Photo Library Access
Usage: Requested solely when a parent chooses to take or select a photo to personalize a Hero's profile avatar, upload a real-world image for a set Prize, or attach visual guides to specific Mission steps.
Privacy: All selected or captured images are saved directly within your app's local sandbox on your device. No images are ever transmitted over the internet or shared with third parties.
Audio and Text-to-Speech (TTS)
Usage: ADAUStar features a speaker button that utilizes your device's native Text-to-Speech system engine to read aloud mission and prize titles, assisting younger children in understanding their tasks.
Privacy: This function is strictly for audio output. ADAUStar DOES NOT access your device's microphone, DOES NOT record any voice or ambient audio, and DOES NOT collect or store any audio data.
Notifications
Usage: Used solely to alert your child locally on the device when a reward timer finishes.
Privacy: Notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent anywhere.
3. Data Safety & Third-Party Sharing
No Data Sharing: Because all data remains entirely on your local device, we do not, and cannot, share any user information with third-party companies, advertisers, or analytical platforms.
No Tracking: The app does not deploy any hidden background tracking mechanisms, user behavioral tracking, or targeted advertising.
4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
ADAUStar is designed to be an interactive parental management tool used under direct parental guidance. Because we do not collect, capture, or transmit any personal information or online identifiers from any user (including children), our app is fully compliant with children's privacy protection frameworks.
Part 2: Terms of Service
1. Free Trial Period (Public Beta) Notice
Current State: ADAUStar is currently operating in a Free Trial and development testing period. During this time, all premium features, timers, and functions are completely unlocked and 100% FREE to use.
Future Changes: We reserve the right to introduce premium models or paid official versions in future updates. Parents will be explicitly notified before any changes to the pricing structure take place.
2. "As-Is" Provision and Limitation of Liability
No Liability for Local Data Loss: Since all data is stored strictly on your local phone storage, clearing your app cache, deleting the app, or formatting your device will result in permanent loss of app data. We are not responsible for any lost stars, history, profiles, or rewards due to device malfunction, data deletion, or unintended software bugs.
